Multiple Intelligences - Educational Success

Howard Gardner's concept of Several Intelligences has been understood by the training and studying group as a wonderful and significant way to recognize, "We are not all the same, we do not all have the same kind of thoughts, and education and studying performs most successfully for most individuals if... personal variations are taken seriously." (Gardner, 1995)

Today's education and studying is full of financing issues, decreased music and art sessions for economic requirements, and issues with lower test ratings. Why aren't new instructors using Howard Gardner's "Multiple Intelligences" as a device to reach as many learners as possible?

The Several Intelligences are: Hearing, Kinesthetic, Visual/Spatial, Intraspective, Interspective, Logical/Mathematical and Language. Gardner recommended three more intelligences-Naturalist- Organic Atmosphere, Spiritual/Existential- Belief /Philosophical, Moral- Values, Humankind, Value of Lifestyle.

These last three "intelligences" are more difficult to evaluate, but have been identified in people who have enhanced the total well being for others.

Human variations, our originality, offer useful efforts to group. There is creativeness in everyone. Research have found that after the suffering of families, or after pension, hidden capabilities have been found, and these capabilities were present throughout life, but not motivated.
